TÜNKERS Worldwide Automation Technology made in Ratingen

As a German family-owned enterprise in second generation, we have developed from technical engineers into an international supplier of automation technology for serial production.

We share the enthusiasm for technology with our worldwide staff of 500, never failing to strive for the better more innovative solution. This is another reason why our products are not commercial goods but “home-grown products“, invented, constructed, produced and marketed by us – always in a close dialog with our customers, OEMs, plant engineers and engineering offices.

Even though the complexity of these systems is continuously on the rise, the automation lines are consistently and quintessentially based upon the same functions of clamping, processing and transporting. It is our objective to hand you a construction kit suiting industrial needs, for the new standard functions within the robotic environment, made of robust, maintenance-free components, designed for extreme operational conditions of line production in the automotive industry and its components suppliers – with turnkey modules already equipped with drive units, transmission, process monitoring systems and relevant interfaces and thus cover functions such as clamping or conveying as a whole.

This TÜNKERS construction kit renders plant engineering:
Faster – Plants can be fashioned faster through the consequent use of turnkey modules; time-consuming customised solutions are rendered obsolete.
Safer – Because it is always resorted to the tried and tested basics – the functional components.
More flexible – Because standards can be easily recomposed and adjusted to different framework conditions.

Experience Success in Series.

Tuenkers Automation Products set the standard. When looking for a partner who can offer innovative and efficient single-operation or entire system solutions for your production parts, Tuenkers is your choice! And if you value speed, flexibility, innovative concepts based on years of experience and personal engagement, then Tuenkers, a true family business, will convince you.
What can we do for you?

Eco valve clamp

It is alarming how much discharged air welding fixtures are permanently exposed to. Certainly, the air is sound absorbed, cleaned, hardly raises dust and is ideally oil-free.

Light-Weight

When weight is of decisive importance in the installations, each kilogram that can be saved is of value.

Almost 2 kg can be saved with the special LW series of our Vario clamps which are immediately available in the sizes 40, 50 and 63.

The right clamp arm

The predominant function of the toggle-joint clamp is to move the contour block in the desired working position. In general, the contour block is mounted with the aid of a hole pattern with two stud boreholes and two through holes. Less conformity can be found as to the clamp arm height, although the requirements on clamping fixture are the same everywhere.

Tabbing Clamps - Special clamps for tabbing operations on car body

Although the bending of tabs is a rather exotic procedure in body framing, this forming technique also requires an industrial-suited tool system.

More energy efficiency through Eco clamps

The ongoing discussion about the climate killer CO2 has increased the sensitivity to the topic energy consumption in production. With more than 1,000 operating cycles per day, pneumatic clamps virtually run marathons in the production lines. Anybody who moves a lot burns a lot of energy; hence, the pneumatic clamps account for a considerable degree of energy consumption in car body manufacturing with more than 1,000 to 2,000 units per production line.

Multi-force cylinder instead of high pressure network

The high pressure networks of 12 bar in the plants are used to generate high forces with standard pneumatic cylinders s. a. in welding application. Especially with a view to energy efficiency, high pressure networks are met with criticism, as the costs of the preparation of compressed air rise exponentially with the pressure.
